Shaykh al-Albaanee Debates a Supporter of Celebrating the Mawlid - This is an audio translation of a discussion that took place when a follower of Muhammad al-'Alawee came to debate the Muhaddith of our time about the permissibility of celebrating the Prophet's (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) Birthday. As was the norm during the life of Shaykh Muhammad Naasirud-Deen al-Albaanee (d.1420H), people from various sects and group would often come to debate him and leave defeated, or convinced of the correctness of his 'aqeedah and manhaj. So this Arabic-to-English audio recording is presented in hopes of convincing those who have doubts about the unlawfulness and innovation of celebrating the Mawlid that this is an unlawful and innovated celebration - having no connection to the Religion of Islam whatsoever.  Please note that the original Arabic discussion has been edited for content by SunnahPublishing.net.

Salafee Condemnation of the Fort Hood Shooting and a Disavowal of Anwar al-Awlaki
- Abul-Hasan Maalik covers various points of benefit concerning the Fort Hood shootings and the resulting aftermath. Specifically, he makes mention of the comments of Jarrett Brachman on National Public Radio that Anwar al-Awlaki follows, "the hard line understanding of Islam known as Salafism," during a discussion about Nidal Hasan Malik's correspondence with al-Awlaki prior to the shootings.  Abul-Hasan clarifies that Salafism (i.e. Salafiyyah) is free from such acts and ideologies.

Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree Warns Against Anwar al-Awlaki
- In the aftermath of the heinous shooting at Fort Hood in Texas, the shooter's and other Khaarijee renegades' connection to Anwar al-Awlaki has come to light, especially in the western media.  Awlaki is the common denominator in many of the recent terrorist acts and attempts that have recently occurred.  Awlaki is not one to carry out such attacks himself, rather he incites and inspires young ignorant Muslims to commit such crimes in the name of Islam.  So the noble Scholar of Madinah, Saudi Arabia: Shaykh 'Ubayd Ibn 'Abdullaah al-Jaabiree has delivered this warning against al-Awlaki.  The Shaykh is presented with three of al-Awlaki's statements that impy mass takfeer of the Muslims and the Shaykh goes onto reply to these falsehoods.  The Shaykh also hits the nail on the head when he says that al-Awlaki has become polluted with the ideasof Sayyid Qutb - who is undoubtedly the catalyst for the modern day acts of terrorism committed in the name of Islam.

Exposing the Ash'aree Fraud against adh-Dhahabee and Ibn Taymiyyah
- Abul-Hasan Maalik makes a critical analysis of the old Ash'aree/Jahmee claims that Imaam adh-Dhahabee criticised Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah and said that some of the people were justified in takfeer of him.  Also included is the differentiation between the two books they attribute to adh-Dhahabee, an-Naseehah and Zaghalul-'Ilm wat-Talab along with al-'Allaamah Hammaad al-Ansaaree's critical remarks about the books.

Uncovering Ash'aree Aspersions against Salafiyyah and the Salafees
- Our brother Hasan as-Somali presents a point by point refutation upon the erroneous claims from one the Philadelphian Jahmites, who alleges that Muhammad 'Abduh was the founder and originator of what is known today as the Salafee Da'wah.  Our brother plays the speech of the Ash'aree himself and refutes it in a way that leaves the false claimant with no choice but to retract his statement.  SunnahAudio.com has inserted the audio statements of the Ash'arees as brother Hasan addresses them, included the nonsensical statement of Yusuf Estes concerning the ascription to the Salaf.

Subduing the Ash'aree Assault Against the Salafee 'Aqeedah
- Our brother, Abul-Hasan Maalik has replied to the arguments that have re-emerged during the recent Ash'aree uprising in Philadelphia and their subsequent attacks upon the Salafee 'aqeedah. Since some of the local ignoramuses have regurgitated the arguments of their Imaams in misguidance Muhammad Zaahid al-Kawtharee, Muhammad 'Alawee al-Maalikee, Nuh Ha Mim Keller and others.  The speaker goes onto compile an abundance of evidences from the noble Qur`aan and the authentic Sunnah proving beyond a shadow of a doubt how the Attributes of Allaah were understood by the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and his Companions.  He lends further support to this evidence through the statements of the early Imaams from the Salaf as well as the later Scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah.

Building Momentum: The Motivation to Worship - Our brother, Abu Hafsah Kashiff Khan, begins this reminder with mentioning that the argument of the western Christians in their da'wah is that one must believe in God to be a moral and just person and that without religion (i.e. without Christianity) one will necessarily be an immoral person. However, a recent study done through scientific research methods, which has led modern non-Muslim society to the conclusion that Atheism does not increase immorality, thus putting the Christian argument to rest. Then, the speaker proceeds to expound upon the the proper reason and motivation to worship Allaah, as outlined in the Qur`an and explained by the orthodox Muslim Scholars of the past.

Live Radio Broadcast on Crime and Murder in Society:
Our brother, Abul-Hasan Maalik appeared live this week on Philadelphia morning radio to discuss the recent unfortunate criminal activities which have led to Muslims, and Salafis in particular, being unjustly painted with the taint of crime, violence and extremism. In particular, this was part of a campaign to clarify the gross inaccuracies and outright fabrications contained in the article, "The Radicals Among Us", written by Matthew Teague and printed in the February 2009 issue of Philadelphia magazine. and He also took live calls from callers about the topic at hand other topics about Islam. Please note that this recording of the live show has been edited for content by SunnahAudio.com and all extraneous and irrelevant portions have been omitted to keep the overall message intact.

Islam's Condemnation of Crime and Murder in Society - A Response to the February 2009 Article in Philadelphia magazine entitled: The Radicals Among Us
- This is a lecture and question and answer session which occurred at Masjid Muhammad Ibn 'Abdul-Wahhaab in Camden NJ, where Abul-Hasan Maalik answers concerns regarding a series of crimes for which the practitioners of Salafiyyah (i.e. Salafists) have been blamed.  Namely, the author of the article in question has blamed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its Scholars of importing terrorism and violence in the name of Islam to America, thus resulting in the stream of murders and killing of law enforcement officials in Philadelphia.  What follows is a reply to Matthew Teague's erroneous claims, as well as an unequivocal condemnation of crime, murder, drug trafficking and the like, all according to the verdicts delivered by the Scholars of Saudi Arabia.
